You guys, I literally cannot speak right now. I’m not exaggerating.
This here is Chris Colfer, who was bullied in high school; whose only friends from high school were the lunch ladies
After he graduated, he drove down to LA to audition for Glee. They loved him so much they wrote him a part.
Glee is now easily one of the most popular shows in the world.
And this year, he won a Golden Globe for his role. And he was entirely gracious, dedicating the award to those struggling to achieve their dreams and be themselves.
This summer he’s starring in a movie he wrote, and he just sold a TV pilot to Disney.
And now he’s going to be honored in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
He’s come so far, and he deserves every single ounce, every single drop, every single molecule of praise he gets.
He’s incredibly talented, but doesn’t forget his fans. He’s deeply involved in helping LGBTQ youth. He’s gracious, smart, adorable, witty and kind. He’s an absolute inspiration.
He’s come so far since high school. He’s achieved his dreams and is encouraging others to do the same.
Oh, did I mention he’s not even 21 yet?
